First time in turkey and this place has my heart.. amazing hotel.. amazing and friendly staff.. couldn’t ask for better!

Awful hotel

Just arrived home from this awful hotel where do I start here goes firstly the room an elderly couple both disabled one more so than the other put in a fifth story attic room couldn't swing a cat the lifts broke down at least 5 times in 2 weeks hotel doesn't seem to care only want money the food atrocious lved on pizza and omelets for two weeks police where always at the hotel fights galore noise after 11pm constant security do nothing lots more but do not have the time to tell all I have been to lots of 5 star hotels in marmaris but that one the grand ideal premium hotel should be up for missrepresnention

Would i go back...... categorically NO

We have just had a 12 day stay at this property, the food left a lot to be desired, my partner is a celiac and was not catered for, and invited to attend the local supermarket to obtain food and bread. they only label the main dishes which the majority had wheat in, they stated that if they catered for one then they would need to cater for all. They put us in the attic with access to the bed on one side as the wall and overhang on the other side was about 4 feet off the floor, when we asked to be moved they gave two options one over the entertainment, and the other by the lift, I have a broken back and was on crutches but that didn't to warrant any consideration. it wasn't until we got EasyJet involved we got some movement on the rooms. Would i go back..... no, would i go back to Marmaris yes and stay in the hotel behind the kayaMaris although a lower grade hotel is far more superior, the staff were helpful, the property was clean and they did everything to ensure you had a joyful stay. The food at Grand Ideal Premium was repetitive and what wasn't eaten at the night time was re-constructed for the lunch the next day.. i.e., brussels sprouts put on the salad bar! 12 days of cold Jacket Potatoes as this was the only food that could be eaten

5 star hotel all round!

We’ve just returned from an incredible 7-night stay at the Grand Ideal Premium in Marmaris, and honestly, we couldn’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The entire hotel is spotless—both the rooms and the communal areas are maintained to such a high standard, which immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The pool area is a real highlight. It’s huge, with plenty of space to swim or just unwind, and there’s always good music playing during the day which creates a really fun, lively atmosphere without being overwhelming. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy both the pool and the sea whenever you like. Food-wise, we were very impressed. Every evening there was a fantastic variety of options, and everything we tried was really nice. The drinks were equally as good—strong, well-made, and with a great selection. The lounge and Blackout bars in particular stood out as really cosy spots to relax with a drink in the evening. The entertainment was another big plus. There was bingo every night at 9pm, followed by a different show at 9:30pm, which kept things fun and engaging throughout our stay. A massive shoutout to the entertainment team—especially Bobby and Lorenzo. They truly made our holiday special. Their energy, friendliness, and effort to get everyone involved created such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. All the staff at the hotel were fantastic and made us feel right at home from start to finish. We had the best time and would absolutely return without hesitation. If you’re thinking about staying here—do it, you won’t regret it. James and Demi

Best week away

Amazing hotel can't fault it at all food aaa great the whole week with loads of choice, spotlessly clean lovely interior and also the SPA was amazing, started off with a Turkish bath at the beginning of the week and finished on the last day with a moisturising massage which was really good value for money, included so many treatments and amazing apple tea included also highly recommend the spa if u go and the spa manager is so friendly too really nice welcoming guy as are the girls they can't do enough for u
