Unfriendly, not helpful, odious front desk

Run away - far away. Trust me.

This hotel really needs help. Beautiful architecture and deceivingly good bargain, but is actually not good at all unless you are homeless and have no other options. Let me see if I can list all the things wrong with this hotel. 1. Even though this hotel is basically across the street from the airport - it is in the middle of NO WHERE. no restaurants, no shops - completely isolated. 2. They DO NOT offer a hotel shuttle for their guests. I had to arrange an UBER to and from the hotel. 3. They do not have real towels. This was sooo strange. They only give you hand towels - no body towels. 4. They have room service in their listing - ummm.....not really. They ONLY offer room service from 6pm to 10 pm. You might want to read that again - no restaurants or shops in the area, no where to eat, and the hotel has only 4 hours of room service. 5. No food delivery service will come out to the area. 6. The hallways outside the rooms are dark and a little creepy. Never again.

The hotel has no working air conditioning and is in the middle of nowhere. For a night before a flight, you might be able to tolerate it, maybe not.

More basic than basic

We needed a decent place to stay close to the airport for a night as were heading to the airport for our return flight the following morning. Booked a room and due to our incoming flight being delayed we reached the hotel at 11:00 pm to check in. While the automated system was cool, it had run out of key cards. There was nobody at the reception and had to wait for 10 - 15 minutes not knowing what to do as there was no way to inform anybody that we were here. Finally the receptionist walked in and while he refilled the cards in the machine he did it at hos own sweet time without communicating. It was a little awkward as were standing there and we didn't know if our reservation had any problems or if it was the machine. The kicker was when we entered the room. The carpet was really dirty, one of the walls had 2 stains like somebody had spit on them. At this point I was too tired to even complain so wanted to just get through the night. Decided to take a shower and walked into the bathroom and noticed that there were no bath towels but only small hand towels. I called the front desk and guess what , apparently they only provide hand towels!!! Next the room was very warm and I tried to change the mode on the a/c unit but there was no cool mode. Called the front desk again and that didn't change anything as they mentioned that there was only one mode. Overall not a great experience. Keep this as your worst case backup option if you want a place to stay to get to the airport quickly. Gave it 2 stars for the location as that is the only positive aspect.

Very odd stay and very odd hotel

Hotel Ora Incheon has pros but some very substantial cons. Pros: Beautiful modern hotel, very comfortable bed and bedding (duvets), shuttle (however a con is very limited hours) Cons: No air conditioning of any kind until May, absolutely no way to control the air temperature for cooling even though there is a thermostat, window does not open to help in lowering temperature in the room, NO LARGE TOWELS!, expensive food in restaurant, rude shuttle driver and restaurant worker The hotel is quite impressive as you drive up to it…very nice design. The fellow at the front desk was very helpful and polite. The driver of the shuttle this evening was very rude and no personality, no welcome, nothing when he handed you the bags at the end, no smile, nothing. The room was 27 degrees and there was no way to reduce the temperature! No air conditioning at this time of year. Very nice bedding and mattress, however how to enjoy the nice duvet when it's so hot, you will sleep on top of it! They offered a fan, but it was not enough. As well, I have never been to a hotel that does not have large shower/bath towels…only hand towels! Makes no sense whatsoever. The window is floor to ceiling and had a nice view of the airport for plane watching. But it does not open at all to allow outside air in. This is a major flaw. The restaurant server also had no personality and seemed to have a poor attitude. She looked like she just did not want to be there and offered no smile, and said NOTHING….not one word. Even though we were trying to speak to her. She just walked away with no expression on her face. Overall, it was a very strange stay for our one night here. I would not stay here again.
