Хостел Best Way

Небольшой хостел прямо в центре города. Мебель новая, приятные люди Сложно найти. Хостел на 6м этаже в доме художника. Пока не спросил охранника ходил кругами.

Очень удобное местоположение, несколько минут до площади Республики. Менеджер встретил, всё показал. Сам хостел чистый, кровать удобная, есть лампа и розетка. Возможно, стоит добавить небольшую полочку около кровати, особенно на втором ярусе.

От сердца отрываю этот хостел и 100% рекомендация. Местоположение лучше не придумать относительно главных достопримечательностей. Менеджер вообще лучший, встретил поздно вечером с такси, в аэропорт проводил, раздал вай фай и помог с такси. Самые хорошие впечатления, вернусь и буду рекомендовать. Спасибо большое -

В самом центре расположен, чисто, приятно, комфортно Первый раз нужно чуть поискать, указателя нет

Not a good place to stay

A very dated hotel. Room had a funny odor, stale cigarette smell, pillows not real comfy and chairs not comfortable. The pool was not heated and the roof had mold, not very welcoming.

THEY KNEW WE WERE COMING!

The weather conditions outside were snowy, icy, and about 30 below with the wind chill. They knew we were coming. After showing Brenda, the receptionist, my identification and signing all of the paperwork this is what my spouse and I were given: HOW TO DO YOUR HEAT WHEN ENTERING YOUR ROOM: TURN THE HEAT TO 74 DEGREES. TURN FAN ON MEDIUM. LEAVE IT THERE FOR AN HOUR. AFTER THAT YOU CAN TURN IT UP. IF NOT, DO IT THIS WAY IT WILL NEVER GET WARM. There was no carpet on the floors, therefore bringing in the luggage on the snowy/icy pavement made the floors even colder with the snow being brought in. We waited for hours for that room to get warmer. Why not get another room? My husband is handicap and I am 70 and because of the conditions we figured we were stuck in a bad situation. I slept in my clothes the entire night. That night I cried. I did not want to continue our journey to Kentucky. The one thing that kept me going was thinking about how lucky I was to have what I had at that moment. I remembered all of the homeless people that I had seen on my way. The bathroom was even colder. Christmas day while I took my shower shivering in the tub I cried. The water was warm - shampoo cold. Chek-out - THANK- GOD! I told the receptionist, Nina, that the heater in the room was not working properly and her response: If you did not follow the directions on the paper then the heater does not work. Why didn't you get another room? Really, people? You knew I was coming. You knew your heaters were not working properly. I paid for the room. You knew the weather conditions. Do you think that I would pay almost $100.00 for you luxurious room on a cold wintery day and go in and not follow directions on how to turn your heat on? HAPPY NEW YEAR

STAY AWAY

Claimed to be smoke free. Our room smelled so bad 2 cans of febreeze did not do the job. I was afraid to speak up because they were sold out dou to the boat races so we just dealt with it. Stains on bathroom ceiling tiles indicating water issues. White pail on “patio” filled with cigarette butts. The reason for the smell. Very old linens and bedcovers. Bed cover had holes in it. Was told pool was closed due to chlorine issues but found out it has been closed for a long time. If there had been another room in town I would have left. In a similar citation I think I Willis go to Carrollton before I stayed here again.

Floors were filthy, wore socks and they turned black - other tenants had same issue. Also room smelled of tale cigarette

Currently looking for a new home so was staying there for 2 weeks or so. On the 8th day, I was sick at my stomach and when the desk clerk asked me if I was going to pay for another day (was 15 min past checkout) I said that I was, as I have every day. Finally somewhat got over the stomach issue & went to pay, desk clerk yelled at me and said it was too late to pay - I tried to explain that I had stomach issues and that I was going to pay like I always have, and she literally screamed at me to "get out". I later asked the manager what was going on, and she stated that there were some days that I didn't pay the proper amount of tax. I had no clue, as I paid what they told me to pay every day. Also, every day had to go up to the office to get my door-key renewed, as it would stop working halfway through the day. Staff are unprofessional, left me in a bad bind-even after I overpaid every single day for that room. The rooms stink, the beds are lopsided & uncomfortable, and the staff are rude. Was on foot - when I was screamed at to "get out", had to walk all my belongings to another location. I'm a quiet person, mind my own business, and never associated with anyone else - was simply 15 mins late paying my daily fee. They did refund me $10 early on for the room smelling and the floors being dirty. If you decide to stay there, make sure they are charging you correctly-also don't take your shoes off, as your socks will be stained. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to an enemy! It's definitely worth paying a little more for a hotel ran like a hotel. Also, breakfast is advertised online-they no longer serve breakfast. They also aren't letting anyone use the pool. You've been warned! Thanks

Decent, about what you would expect for the price

I stayed two nights in order to not have to drive in winter storm. The room seemed clean enough. The T.V. did not work, I asked for a different remote control, the staff gave me new batteries but T.V. still did not work. The room telephone did not work. The refrigerator was set on maximum and froze my food. The neighbors were loud and I didn't sleep well. Bed and pillow were mediocre comfort. I gave 3 stars because this is an inexpensive hotel so your expectations can't be too high.
