One Room Hotel

Unique Experience

Surprised my other half by staying here for one night on his 30th birthday in the middle of our trip to Prague. The hotel emailed me once I had booked to offer additional services such as decorations for occasions. I sent a google image of big ‘30’ balloons which were in the room on arrival however the next day one had deflated and when turning it around to check for damage we noticed it had already been taped over. I assumed having found it already taped that the hotel would discount the price for the balloons however when we checked out they had not. This was easily resolved when I mentioned it and the manager came and removed the decorations from the bill which was nice of them however if I hadn’t asked I would have paid full price. The room itself is absolutely amazing. The view isn’t the best as all the castle etc are round the other side so that you get the good views from the restaurant. The bed is super comfy and the turn down service was a nice surprise. We found the heating system is very noisy and rattled during the night which did wake us a few times. The bathroom is very nice and I enjoyed having a bath whilst being able to see the view due to the divider between the bathroom and the bedroom being glass. There is also a door that opens up and can be pulled across for privacy. The TV/mirror combo in the bathroom is too dark to actually use as a mirror and the TV doesn’t work properly so the whole thing is pointless. The bathroom is a step up from the bedroom which means that as the shower does not have a door the water ran from the shower down the step and into the bedroom soaking the entire floor. Due to the dark mirror I took one of the chairs from the room and did my make up for the evening in the wardrobe. Very spacious walk in wardrobe with great lighting and a thermostat. Plenty of space to store clothes/shoes/handbags however only a few hangers on the rail although that was enough for us. The TV in the bedroom would not link up with my partners phone which was disappointing so we had to use Spotify on the computer to play music as the radio aux lead would not work with the phone either. The champagne and fresh fruit on arrival is a nice touch. The mini bar is very pricey so luckily we had brought our own alcohol which we stored in the fridge. You would think for the price you pay and the fact there is only one room they might have a mini bar that is free of charge however this is not the case. We also had dinner in the Oblaca restaurant which is lovely food however we experienced bad service but this is a review for the hotel so I will review the restaurant separately. The breakfast in the restaurant was very nice and it’s good that it is included with the room and a shame that dinner in the restaurant isn’t included with the room. All in all it was an excellent experience which I am glad we did as it was a nice surprise for my partner. We wouldn’t do it again as we have done it now and it is quite simply over priced. Had there not have been any problems it might have been worth the money I paid but when you’re paying that price you expect everything to be working and for it to be perfect.

excelent services, interesting location, very nice hotel room, if I try to find out something wrong, I simly cannot. from the bed you have a very nice panorama view on the Prague; this experience I highly recommend to everybody

Great Customer Service, and gosh that bed<3

We stayed at the One Room the last two nights of our 8 night excursion to Prague. We had spent the first 6 nights in the city center, so being able to check into the luxurious room outside of the hustle of the City Center felt so relaxing and was a great way to end our trip. I really enjoyed the high end furnishings of the room. The Hastens bed is to die for, and now we are considering getting one. Both nights I slept soundly, which hadn't happened the entire trip. I see others had mentioned how some things didn't work. We did experience the WIFI not working, but it wasn't the end of the world due to the fact there is a wired in computer in the room that we used instead (and the mouse and keyboard was working when we were there). Although some may be annoyed by the WIFI going out, I really think the customer service made up for this. Jana, the manager, bent over backwards for us (and so did the other manager, I can't remember his name but he carried my very very heavy suitcase at times)! The turn down service that we received was so nice and unexpected. We entered our room to find candlelight and chocolates. The fresh flowers they left were very nice (they were sunflowers with some wild flowers, so I did not experience an overpowering aroma as mentioned in a previous review). Jana also told us about many cities near Prague that are worth a tour. Oh and because we were checking out early to catch our flight home she packed us breakfast to take on the road since we weren't going to be eating breakfast in the hotel! Not to mention that we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant. My crepe and forest fruits were perfect, and the drinks we had in the bar were super fun with dry ice effects. All of these things and the beautiful view of the hotel really made it a wonderful experience and we are so grateful for this extra special experience. AMAZING

It was a great experience. Everything was perfect. Hotel room was spacious, clean and with beautiful view for whole city. There was a very comfortable bed from which you will not want to wake up. Breakfast was so delicious. All staff was nice, polite and helpful. I can recommend this hotel, nothing is impossible there.

Absolutely unique experience!

Absolutely unique experience! On the tower we were alone whole night and the staff was fantastic. I have never visited the hotel with better customer care. The hotel limousine picked us up in front of our house and the driver cared about us for whole time. He was constantly convinced that everything was all right and fulfilled every wish we had. Bomb to the end! The climber behind the window with a birthday card was STUNNING! Stay even a bit more expensive I definitely recommend!
