Take it from a Local- Choose anything else! I want to highlight my experience as a guest and some serious safety concerns and illegal activities I observed. Man where do I begin! First concern, the property is not secure at all! We pulled into the parking garage to check in. We ran into a door that had a keypad to use for entry with keycards that gave direct access to the rooms. IT WAS UNLOCKED. That is a safety issue since there is no one in the halls making sure only guest can enter that space of the hotel. Next, it was so quite like no elevator music or lobby nothing kinda creepy. The room was a double queen with a pool view. The layout of the room itself is very nice with a balcony and nice modern door to access it. Overall it was "stayable". Although there were brownish stains on the sheets and stains all over the carpet inside the room and throughout the whole hotel. The bathroom appeared pretty clean although there were a few strands of someone else's hair on the wall. My husband and I went to the front desk to request a new room but apparently they were "sold out" and I know thats was a lie. That hotel was DEAD. There was no manager there on a holiday weekend (memorial day)? That's so unprofessional and also concerning. The breakfast 😂. The emoji speaks for itself. They might as well take the money they are using for that and invest it into the cleaning and security of the building. It was Aweful! Dry cereal, bagels. A pan of boiled eggs? 🤢 They did have a pancake maker which I tried and they tasted like the end of my rubber flip flop. The infinity pool - it was a beautiful view, great atmosphere with good people to talk with right next to the little outdoor bar. However, when I got in I dunk myself under and came up with the taste of salt 🧂 all in my mouth. I went to the front desk to ask if it was a salt water pool and you can imagine the answer I received was a no..🤢🤮😷 that turned me off. The Rooftop restaurant and bar - It was a very nice atmosphere with a great DJ. Our service was fast and our server Destiny was amazing! She was working that whole rooftop somehow! The food was good! No complaints there. Good fried bar food. However, my husband and I noticed children sitting in the corner drinking an alcoholic beverage. That was a HUGE turn off! I mentioned this concerning observation to the hotel staff and I was told "we did not serve them so its not our problem". Jesus Lord Have mercy! Not sure that math is matching! Its DEFINITELY your problem. Not a respectable business for sure. The parking garage - Please be careful! Whoever owns this hotel is a slumlord! The parking garage has water pouring out of it!!! This is extremely concerning and dangerous. Water should NEVER be pouring out of the seams of a concrete parking garage 😵! If you dont know why, Google it!! This will cause serious structural damage and eventually lead to a collapse. This kind of neglect only invokes the thought of the structural integrity of the infinity pool😬. In conclusion - I won't be returning. I cant support a business that operates like this. Its sad to say this because the hotel location, atmosphere and concept is phenomenal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach was extremely disappointing — especially because this trip was meant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We prepaid and reserved a specific room through a third-party booking company, yet upon arrival the hotel did not honor the reservation we paid for. Instead, we were placed in what felt like the worst room in the hotel: directly near the 10th-floor bar where loud music, heavy foot traffic, and intoxicated guests continued late into the night. Sleep and relaxation were nearly impossible. I attempted to resolve the issue with the onsite manager, but the only solution offered was to charge us even more money for the room type we had already prepaid and reserved. I also reached out to the general manager afterward, hoping the hotel would take responsibility for the situation, but there was no accountability or meaningful attempt to make things right. What made the situation worse was the condition of the property itself. The hotel is clearly showing its age and lacks proper upkeep. We encountered bugs in the hallways, found hair from the cleaning crew in the bathroom, and noticed visible marks, wear, and damage throughout the room interior. The furniture was damaged, drawers would not properly close, and the closet door was visibly worn and damaged as well. Even some of the fire safety signage appeared faded and difficult to read, which added to the impression that maintenance and guest care were not priorities. Most disappointing of all was the complete lack of consideration for what was a milestone anniversary trip. There was no empathy regarding the room situation and no apparent concern for customer experience once payment had been secured. Unfortunately, this stay left us feeling that maximizing profit mattered more to management than honoring reservations or taking care of guests. I would not stay here again and would strongly encourage others to think carefully before booking.

Woman be aware!

Woman Be AWARE: my sister and I stayed at The Edge hotel in Clearwater April 15 through the 22nd. The front desk called and said there was a noise complaint at 3:00 am on Saturday night . 2 men showed up at our door and a woman, who we could not see but was asking if we were playing loud music. No one identified themselves as security with the edge. 911 was called and the Clearwater police came to our room. We are extremely disappointed onhow the edge management handled the situation. We attempted to secure a security report and we’re never able to get our hands on it. I truly believe there was no noise complaint or security report completed. It was an inside job and an attempted robbery or god knows something else.

Find somewhere else to Stay

We’ve stayed here before but this will probably be the last. For the amount you pay, should your hallway smell like someone regurgitated everyday!!!! There are ways to get rid of this smell! They opened the parking garage door to air it out! Isn’t that unsafe for your visitors??? We also had an overcharge at the pool bar on the tip. I contacted the manager and never heard back from Them! I’m a Sales Manager and I would NEVER not return a phone call and rectify the situation. The hotel is tired and needs updated. Terrible toilet paper, wash cloths both had a feeling of sandpaper. It tells me a lot of how you feel about your guests. Highly doubt that we will ever stay here again.

Not the boutique experience I expected

Definitely not a boutique hotel as advertised. Sheets were dingy, pillows small and flat, towels small, pool towels thin and small. Breakfast was all cold food unless you made yourself pancakes. Coffee in rooms and at breakfast was terrible. Staff was not overly friendly. The hotel decor is old and tired, it needs a refresh. The view was lovely, enjoyed the sunsets and saw a few dolphins
